Later in the day the Caroler’s Caravan headed to Geer and Noble Horizons to visit church members and others who are homebound. Dr. Stephen Austin preached his final sermon at the SCC On January 16th, The Rev. Diane Monti-Catania answered the call to be our new Settled Pastor Please click on either picture to open galleries of these two events Although not specifically an SCC event, the church has been home to the annual Open Recital since 1981, and the Al Sly Fund traditionally has underwritten the event. With more than 50 performers, we were treated to classical music, jazz, and original compositions. The student performers were joined by special guests from past recitals and their children. 30th Anniversary ~ Student Open Recital February 27, 2011 Click any to enlarge The Service  of Installation of Pastor Diane as the church’s  16th settled pastor was held on May 15, 2011. During a  reception following the service, the Search Committee gave  Diane a gift of  an edible garden, and the Bell Choir pre-  sented Diane with a prayer shawl (right), knitted by Sue  Spring  (see page 3 of the Summer 2011 newsletter).
